When we talked to the children about the McMaster Children’s Hospital, they were excited to create artwork that they believe will bring hope and joy to the children in the oncology ward.  To honour the thoughtfulness and deep intentions that the children have put into their artwork, we had an Art Auction  using Monopoly money.  We invited the children to show their artwork to all the parents and share their story. The parents all took turns bidding on everyone’s Artwork with the Monopoly money and were invited to make a real donation to the McMaster Wish Heart Fund.  We raised $ 845 from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Children’s Centre.
